Purpose
Special design of clamp ZKB allows making stitching of the kerb stone be means of the end edges. The clamp is convenient for kerb stone stacking or palletizing, as it allows to place blocks back-to-back.
Use of this clamp in road construction works (particularly kerb laying) is a bit limited, as the kerb stones are held by end edges. Additional tools may be required for end-to-end installation of the kerb stones.
Design
The clamp is a tong-type mechanism. The load is held by frictional force between the load surface and cheeks of the clamp. The design of the clamp allows secure fixation of the kerb stones, concrete blocks and similar materials with the length of up to 1060mm; the load capacity of a single clamp is up to 0.5t.
Rubber pads that can be attached to the cheeks of the clamp for more delicate handling of load are provided.
