Purpose
The JM pulling hoist is a portable manual lifting and traction mechanism designed for lifting and traction work, as well as for lowering loads, tensioning and unroping. Due to its small size, it is ideal for use in confined spaces.
The device is operated manually using a lever. The mechanism is assembled in an aluminum alloy case and has a low dead weight. Wear-resistant, parallel clamping jaws guarantee a gentle grip on the traction rope due to the uniform distribution of pressure on its surface.
When the operator pulls the lever, the pre-tension spring forces the clamps to engage the tensioned rope, then the parallelogram-shaped frame of the clamping mechanism tilts back in the direction of the load, and the upper and lower clamps grip the rope a little further; those. the pulling force produced by the clamping force increases and becomes greater than the loading force. Thus, the load can be continuously moved by applying force to the lever.
